Acura RDX 2013 for leaseRDX 2013 Acura launches the all new 2013 RDX crossover, the International Exhibition of the Montreal Auto Show MONTREAL, Jan. 12 2012 / CNW / - At the forefront of this wave of new products and new technologies, Acura today unveiled three new vehicles at the International Auto Show in North America. The unveiling included a prototype of new RDX crossover utility and the new Acura TSX A-Spec 2012. The launch of these new models takes place in Detroit, before the 25th anniversary of Acura. The premium brand of performance and luxury automobiles in Canada, continues its exciting turn toward the future. "Over the next three years, Acura will launch a series of new models that will reshape our product line and shake the luxury vehicle market," said Roger Alexander, the assistant vice president of Acura Canada.
The Acura RDX Presented as a prototype version of the model RDX 2013, the second generation of five-passenger crossover utility will raise the bar, with a new engine, new transmission and an AWD system. This new approach will enable it to deliver superior performance and better fuel economy. The 2013 RDX, before leaving this spring, will have a V-6 engine 3.5 liter engine generating 273 horsepower, 33 more than the existing model as basic equipment. For increased performance and better fuel economy, the RDX will use wisely its 6-speed automatic transmission, enhanced by a lock-up torque converter. It also will feature a new AWD system, lighter, providing both performance and security required, while achieving greater energy efficiency. The exterior of the RDX is more refined and its lines are more aerodynamically efficient, showing the transition from one sport to a RDX compact SUV, whose appearance is more formal and more sculpted hood. His style more elegant and sophisticated is the philosophy of Acura, that the design has to be both beautiful and timeless. The wheelbase of the chassis is now longer and wider track. The model also includes the new active damping system and the new electronic power steering is adapted to the movement. Inside the RDX, 2013, new forms large, matte surface linings and generous use of leather give the RDX a stylish look and give customers the feeling of Acura luxury they expect. Absorbent materials, widely used, and the active control system (ASC) team up to offer an exceptionally quiet interior. Other interior features, such as more doors open, a more spacious cabin for passengers, cargo space and an increased drawdown electrical panel on the back make this interior more functional and versatile. The model 2013 RDX will also be delivered with new technologies such as text messages, the keyless entry system (smart entry and start button) and a reversing camera at three angles. A Technology package will also be available to provide additional comprehensive and relevant technologies. It will include, among others, the Acura Navigation System and a bilingual speech recognition system and, new in 2013, navigation systems on the cutting edge using a disk drive (HDD) with a capacity of 60 gigabytes of memory, 15 of which can be reserved for storing music. Acura provides that the model ILX get the best odds from the NHTSA crash tests the IIHS American. Production of this model will be transferred to the Honda of America Mfg.., In East Liberty, Ohio. The study quality (IQS) J. D. Power and Associates conducted in 2011, this facility houses one of the top four assembly lines in North America. The first generation MDX was built in Marysville Auto Plant in Ohio, as a winner of the IQS for each of its two assembly lines. The Acura TSX A-Spec 2012 Designed to attract driving enthusiasts, the new Acura TSX in 2012 demonstrates the commitment of Acura, to focus more on vehicles that meet the emotions and desires of today's drivers. Its seats are covered in luxurious suede accented with red stitching. The interior lighting, red, too, evokes the old model RSX which carburait to adrenaline. With its unique wheels coupled with high-performance summer tires and aerodynamic package, the vehicle A-Spec is the first in a line whose linings add to the timeless splendor of orientation Acura design. |
